Actually, not bad

Maybe it's cuz I'm stoned, but that was really entertaining. The esoteric mix of subject matter really screwed with my head, and the soundtrack just added to the brainfart. Also, the game actually got kind of difficult. Nice job, man. Keep it up.

Below par for Badlands...

Graphics and style are amazing as usual, but damn... the controls are DISMAL. The dumpling needs a MUCH more defined anchor point, as I often found myself clicking right on the sucker only to have him (her?) drift right into a horde of toxoplasms. Even at a dead standstill, it usually took 3 clicks just to finally get a grip. Great game, but extremely frustrating.

Awesome game, but one suggestion...

If you do a sequel, the audio needs a lot of work. Don't get me wrong, this is one of the best games I've seen on NG in a while. Still, a better soundtrack and improved voice acting are key. For music, check out this band Therion. Look for the song Ginungagap off of "Secret of the Runes." I think you'll agree that it fits perfectly.

Great game, but one HUGE flaw...

This game SERIOUSLY needs a continue function. I mean, we're talkin' so serious that I had to type it in all caps.

Yeah, man.

Meh...

It was alright. One of the major flaws is that there's really no skill base; it's all whether or not the ships happen to randomly fly into usable groups. More often than not, you'll find several differently colored ships moving in tight formation, making it impossible to circle a proper group. This combined with the less-than-ample time limit makes for less of a game than an exercise in exreme frustration. I would at least code it so that any spare time you have from one round carries over to the next. Otherwise, it's just plain pointless.

Great dressup, but...

I was playing the version on your site, and I've been trying for the past 10 minutes to find the proper placement for H.S. Thompson's tiparillo. Where the hell in his mouth is that thing supposed to go? Other than that frustration, this is an awsome dressup game. I'd just give it a little bigger margin of error in terms of item placement.

PERFECT

This is exactly what I look for in a game. Fast-paced action, high replay value, and sleek-as-hell design. The physics engine in general is very impressive for a flash-based game. Also, this is the first time I've actually continued playing a flash game for another half-hour after beating it all the way through. That says something right there. The portal needs more amazing work like this. Good show.

Wow

What can I say? This is an awesome farking game you've made here. Addictive, challenging, funny as hell. My only suggestion would be to add powerups like different guns, speed, or weighted boots for your cows so they don't get sucked up as fast. You could also make it so that the bombs sometimes contain powerdowns like helium or sticky goo so you can't move.

So uh... yeah. Sorry, got a little carried away there. Anyways, awesome game, make another, etc. etc.

What?

It pisses me off when someone gets a great idea and then rapes it like this. You have a really good concept here, reversing the roles of typical "Defend your Castle" games. But unfortunately you made it unbalanced, graphically lacking, and ultimately unplayable. I really want to like this game, but unfortunately it's nothing more than an awesome idea executed with the skill and precision of 2 year old.

VENGEANCE-GGG responds:

Graphically lacking? Well, I was trying to make it run fast, and look cute. Unbalanced? If my computer had more than 450 Mhz, I'd have been able to play test it a bit better. I have to change computer whenever I want to check what happens on the next level, because of Macromedia's bias against Mac users. Skill and precision of a 2 year old??? Excuse me? I've been using Flash for 3 years. That would mean that I started using it a year before I was born. I seriously doubt that most 2 year olds could use shared objects and for loops, let alone pronounce them. I'd like to see you do better. Seriously, I would. Show me the best game you can make in two weeks, and then I'll admit that you're entitled to your argument.

All flash, no functionality...

Something I've noticed about your games is that they're glitzy as hell and sorely lacking in the playability department. Try focusing more on replay value and general quality of gameplay and less on making something that only looks professional.

Youdagames responds:

This has huge playability mind that you are probably focusing racing only once you see the whole picture. You be hooked.

I try to review fairly... though sometimes I'll rip into the occasional crap submission. Yeah. Fun times.
